Our campsite on a human scale is a real family campsite near Joyeuse and the magnificent village of Balazuc in the south of Ardèche. It is the ideal spot for a great family holiday. The campsite has some great facilities, so you can have fun at any time of day.
The pool
Enjoy a refreshing break beside the campsite pool and don't hesitate to dive into the water at the ideal temperature. Our water park also has a paddling pool for children. They can enjoy the water and have fun in complete safety. You can have fun in the water, take it easy and enjoy a relaxing experience on a deck chair, while working on your tan in peace and quiet.
Table tennis, table football & pétanque
After enjoying a swim, you can begin an exciting game of table tennis or table football before taking on the top campers in a pétanque tournament.
Music,
shows
Evenings are set aside for a little music and a few shows but most of all for great times, laughter and a sense of well-being. You can experience all the charm of a holiday in a 3-star campsite.
Visit to the vineyards
Les Châtaigniers has the "Vignobles & Découvertes" wine tourism label. During your stay at the campsite, you can enjoy the green, natural setting to take it easy and visit the local vineyards. You can also taste the wines made from our grape varieties.

Don't miss a trip to the medieval villages nearby, such as Montréal, L’Argentière and Labeaume, and enjoy the daytime and evening shows and events in summer (July/August). Most of these charming villages offer breathtaking views.
Booking a campsite in Ardèche means having a base in a wonderful region full of surprises, which will give you the opportunity to quickly visit all the major tourist spots in Ardèche. Caves, rivers, gorges, waterfalls, bridges, and villages will be eagerly awaiting your visit!

All that will be left for you to do is to relax under your tent canvas, nestled in a green setting, while enjoying the peace and serenity of the surroundings.
Access to all the campsite facilities
Choosing your camping spot gives you access to all the facilities available at our site. Your children can have fun in the playground while you play ping-pong, foosball, or pétanque. You can also enjoy a meal to your taste by renting a barbecue, ordering from the pizza truck, or sitting at the bar.
Finally, as the day ends, you can also join other campers for a circus night or a musical aperitif.
Camp in Ardèche at the Les Châtaigniers campsite and enjoy the pool to unwind and relax, or take the opportunity to stroll through the Ardèche vineyard and taste its wines.
